Frequently Asked Questions

  • Psychotherapy—often called therapy or counseling—is a collaborative process designed to help you feel better emotionally, mentally, and even physically. Through evidence-based approaches, a licensed therapist supports you in exploring your thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and inner experiences to foster growth and healing.

  • EverMINDFULL offers secure virtual sessions for clients residing in California and Indiana. All sessions are conducted via Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant platform you can access from your computer, tablet, or phone—wherever you feel most comfortable.

  • Standard individual sessions are 50 minutes. For clients who need more time or a brief check-in, EverMINDFULL also offers:

    • 75-minute extended sessions

    • 25-minute touch-up sessions

These options can be discussed and arranged in advance.

    • 15-minute phone consultation: Free

    • 50-minute session: $235

    • 75-minute session: $350

    • 25-minute touch-up session: $115

    • Package of 5 sessions: $999

  • Before your first session, you’ll complete a set of intake forms. The initial session is a time to get to know each other. We’ll explore your current challenges, values, and goals. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—building trust takes time, and that’s perfectly okay.

  • The duration of therapy varies for each person. Together, we’ll define your goals and check in regularly to assess progress. Whether short-term or longer-term, your therapy will be tailored to your needs.

  • Consistency is key. Most clients attend sessions weekly or biweekly, depending on their goals and life circumstances. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that supports your growth.

  • EverMINDFULL is not in-network with insurance providers and does not bill insurance directly. However, if you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. We’re happy to provide monthly superbills to support your claims.

To verify coverage, ask your insurer:

    • Does my plan cover out-of-network mental health services?

    • What is my deductible and has it been met?

    • How many sessions per year are covered?

    • What percentage of each session fee is reimbursed?

  • We accept all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • We kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be billed at the full session fee.

  • Your privacy is a top priority. All communication is confidential and protected by law. Exceptions include situations involving:

    • Suspected abuse of children, elders, or dependent adults

    • Threats of serious harm to yourself or others

These are rare but important ethical and legal exceptions.

  • Therapy is most effective when you’re engaged—both during and between sessions. Show up consistently, reflect on our work together, and practice new skills in your daily life. Change takes time, but your effort makes a difference.
